Former Nestlé executive also reflects on the changing nutrition business, investing and his post-retirement plans
After 30 years with food giant Nestlé, Steve Allen — a longtime friend to and editorial advisory board member for Nutrition Business Journal — is retiring to move on to new adventures. Most recently vice president of new business with Nestlé in Glendale, California, Allen has worked all over the globe — from Africa to the Middle East to Europe to North America. Allen also serves as the chairman of the screening committee for Nutrition Capital Network (NCN). All of these experiences have provided him with a unique view into the global nutrition industry.
